Crepe Bar is a must go! The Grand Prix and the Orange Blossom Honey Toast are divine. The depth of the espresso flavor adds a nice touch to the crispy pork belly and the coffee crepe is unique and tender. The toast with its perfect mix of orange blossom and fig is a match made in heaven. Their cold brew is also so smooth and perfectly balanced!
Crêpe Bar offers a creative twist on classic crepes, blending fresh, high-quality ingredients with a gorgeous presentation. The savory and sweet options provide lots of unique flavors with a wide range of coffee options to match. Crêpe Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking for an innovative brunch experience in Tempe.
The Adobe burrito was simply amazing. It will forever change my tastebuds expectations when I order one elsewhere! The only thing better than the food was the service!
After trying out a few breakfast places in the area, we finally found the one. We've been going to Crepe Bar so often for brunch now. You go up to the register to order and grab a number for your table. There's all kinds of seating including outdoors. Staff has always been cheery and friendly :) Besides the basic tea and coffee options, they also have some unique flavors! My partner and in particular really like the pecan praline black tea and the hibiscus black tea. The pecan praline tea is so unique. It tastes just like liquid pralines. The hibiscus tea is very strong. It has a very forward sour taste, so I would recommend mixing with sugar and/or milk. Sometimes you're given a small ramekin of their homemade granola as a snack while waiting for your food. It is sweet, nutty, and comforting. My partner's and my absolute favorite crepe here is the sweet Vanilla Bean Custard one. It comes with a flavored homemade whipped cream and the flavors all work together beautifully. You can taste the butter the crepes are cooked in too. We have also tried their Maple Butter crepe, but still prefer the Vanilla Bean Custard. Of the savory options, I have tried the Papa K and Jamaican Jerk. I preferred the Papa K more. that crispy cheese lace is incredible and the crepe itself is absolutely huge. I had to take home leftovers with the Papa K, but was able to finish the Jamaican Jerk in one sitting. I have gotten the crispy pork belly once to try as a side and while it was cooked very well, you only get 2 small cubes of pork belly. We love Crepe Bar so much and constantly recommend it to friends.
Sweet Crepe of mine Good times never seemed so good... Got the kids two type of crepes First and Second Time and had to eat them both (dad life). The staff was very helpful and gave the kids some granola after we ordered and sat down. Order at the counter when you're ready and they will give you a number to place on your table. They have high chairs for the little ones but no changing table in the men's bathroom. An unfortunate trend I continue to find across many places we visit. Very mellow breakfast spot located in a shopping center, lots of parking. It does get busy so look at the menu ahead of time to minimize your wait. They have music playing in the background while you chow down.
Absolutely loved this place. The crepes were amazing. Tons of options. I had the one with caramelized bananas. It was very good. They also have a liquor license so I was able to get a coffee with bourbon in it. It paired perfect with the crepe. We will be back here for sure.
Nestled in a quaint plaza, this one-of-a-kind gem effortlessly captivates your attention from the moment you step inside. Offering a diverse array of options, each dish boasts enticing flavors that promise a delightful culinary experience. My wife opted for the Blintz, a tantalizing creation featuring Ricotta cheese, House Strawberry Jam, and Whipped Cream. The Strawberry Jam, was interesting , offered a unique twist that deviated from the expected traditional flavor profile. On the other hand, I indulged in the Caponata, a medley of Roasted Eggplant, Red Pepper, Tomatoes, Capers, and Mixed Greens. Having experienced an extraordinary crepe in France last May, I may have been anticipating a lighter, more calorie-friendly version. The staff, notably Jeff, the amiable owner, exuded friendliness and accommodation. Engaging in conversation, he added a personal touch to our dining experience. The establishment also showcases the works of local artists on its walls, creating an artful ambiance. A small plant gallery further supports local artists and businesses. Immersing ourselves in the relaxed atmosphere and vibrant, hip vibe, we relished not only the delectable dishes but also the overall charm of this unique establishment.
I've dined here several times and the food is consistently tasty! They have excellent customer service too. My favorite crepe is the lemon curd with strawberries. Parking is easy, bathrooms are clean, seating is spacious. All around solid breakfast! Portions are on the smaller size, so I like to order more than one.
If you thought crepes couldn't get any better, you need to try Crêpe Bar. This delicious cafe, hidden in an unassuming strip mall, has easily become my favorite brunch spot in the Valley! The Grand Prix is easily a stand-out dish. It's a unique combination of savory, crispy pork belly with sweet espresso maple and the slight kick of chili--topped with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg. I don't think I've had pork belly this well-cooked in a while! If you want a lighter savory breakfast, the Papa K is a great option with more traditional flavors--cheese, mushroom, ham--and salad on the side. Their sweet crepes are definitely elevated too. I thought the banana brulee and candied pecans on the Maple Butter were ah-maz-ing. But it's hard to stray from savory crepes, knowing that I'm always tempted to order their lattes, which are made with homemade syrups! Maybe I'll just have to come for breakfast, lunch, AND dessert one day. I also very much appreciate the small cup of cereal and dried fruit served as an "appetizer" before each meal :)
We've been a fan of Crepe Bar and have been going here for years. If you're looking for a quieter experience, definitely go on one of the weekdays. It has been a while since we've gone on the weekend, but it used to get pretty busy during their peak hours. You order at the front and they bring out the food to you. We've tried and enjoyed a variety of crepes. My favorites from the current menu are the roasted chicken & the vanilla bean custard. However, the maple butter is really good too; more on the simple side but I think it highlights the crepe the best! They used to have a farm veggie crepe but it's unfortunately no longer on the menu .. hoping that will come back in the future. Overall, one of our go-to's for brunch. It does take a bit of time for food to come out but they usually bring granola or another small snack while you wait. If you're in Tempe, definitely check them out!
